In training for competition in 2016 I need to make sure that I am totally injury free and to extend my competitive years I need to stay injury free and maintain optimum health all around. I learned several things about chiropractic care in the last week that is extremely interesting. I want to share with you what I believe to be a very important finding.
I had gone to a chiropractor years ago after a car accident and had been treated for injuries that I had sustained. I never went back to the chiropractor nor did I really think of going back. I was unaware of the fact that some of the benefits of chiropractic care include minimizing wear and tear on your body and keeping your nervous system working the way it should. I knew that the spinal cord has a lot to do with the delivery of information from and to the brain. I was not aware of how much impact a misalignment of the spine itself could have on the nervous system. As impulses are sent to and from the brain that influence the way your body moves and functions, they follow a map of nerves and sensors. Whenever there is a pinch, restriction or altering of that map it changes the way your body reacts and functions in a negative way. Keeping the map and nerves in proper working order is key to making sure that things continue to function correctly and your health and fitness level are at the highest level possible.
The treatment center where I went yesterday even looks at your antioxidant levels. Today I will get a plan of treatment and start to improve my quality of life and take another step towards competing. One thing that I was told about my antioxidant levels is that I am doing well with them, thanks to the organic supplements that I am taking. I will have a better report after talking to the chiropractor about the findings.
